Welcome little baby

I made this invite for the christening of my goddaughter. The mother wanted something fresh and new. I had used this format before and suggested using it with differently structured papers to create a delicate effect. The top paper is a white velum, the middle one, where the name is printed, is a white pearlized paper, and the backing paper is a pink foiled paper that is very lightly scented. When printed the foil effect of the paper comes out in full as the ink does not set on the foil. The outcome is very beautiful. The hand in the photo belongs to the little girl herself.

  10. Left love on almost every entry so I hope your friend is feeling much less lonely now. :) You really have amazing talent and such a wonderful eye for restrained creativity: almost an oxymoron, it's something that is not common to many, and it's a gift when you have it. You are so awesome. Loved taking the trip here!

  16. Linda,

Did you print this card out on your inkjet, or did you send it out to be printed?
