baby alphabet poster

A year ago I created alphabet posters for our godson and for our friends' daughter, and I knew I wanted to make one for my nephew as well. His first birthday (celebrated this weekend) was the perfect opportunity. I really like this idea. It's a custom version of a great tradition for nursery or playroom, and I just know it will be cherished forever. I also really like the combination of fonts. :)

font faves according to moi

After getting some nice tips on great fonts on blogs around the interwebs I thought I would repay the favor and share some fonts that I have a big love for. Now, I think maybe this will have to be a recurring theme because when I browse the hundreds of fonts I have accumulated over the years I see so many favourites. It's an illness, I think, loving fonts. But it's an illness I don't mind having. Apart from the holes it makes in my wallet, it's purely a positive thing.

But let's start with these ten! These are ten fonts that I really love to use, both in designing, but also in digi scrap, card making, and what have you. Some of them are $$$, some of them are free. You decide for yourself if they are worth it for you. Enjoy!

Super cute P52

We are moving into our third month of crazy winter weather with lots of snow and today we finally did something more than just shovel it around and off the driveway. We went with my husband's brother and his family to a hill not far from our house and played in the snow, sliding down the hill, and then ended the outing with hot dogs and hot cocoa. I shot this of my nephew right there in the snow.

I am almost caught up with everything I set out to do a week ago. I still have the wordart for the P365 templates to put up. It will come soon, I promise.

I got a question about a different version of the wordart in the Valentine's card and I will try to get that done in the coming week  as well.

Oh, and I have also had a few questions about the scripty font of my recent wordarts. It's a font called Satisfaction. I purchaced it from My Fonts.  Just beware of that website though, you will want to spend way more money than can be considered reasonable. LOL!
