Random postage

I came here for a random post but discovered that this is the 400th post on the blog! Wowie! I have come to 400? That is pretty amazing! I promise, there will be a celebration very soon! Hee!

alright, enough with the exclamation marks, Linda

Anyway I came to tell you that there will be a little sumpin sumpin from me on One Buck Wednesday at JessicaSprague.com tomorrow. So you will want to check that out first thing! :D

In other words, I am working on a christening invite. Well, it was designed before we went on holiday in July but the details weren't quite set, which meant I couldn't start printing back then. But that will happen tomorrow. I hope to be able to share here very soon. I love the design. Modern and cute all at the same time.

I will see you tomorrow again with some info on OBW!

Hybrid work

I made this box to hold a birthday present for my mother the other day.
I used my Modernist Papers and iKari's gable box template.

I love how quick and easy this was to whip up in PS and then just print, cut and fold. Super awesome when you want something really unique.

All about Italia

You bet, I'm back with some more photos! Like I said yesterday there are a lot of them, lol, but I think you will agree with me that the views are stunning ... no?

Another picture from Oliveto castle

Another one from Fattoria Voltrona

Views from along the road

Lunch at Volpaia

Pool play at the hotel in Chianciano Terme

Wall around the town of Chiusi

Restaurant Zaira in Chiusi and their fantastic 3000 year old cantina- seriously, if you have the chance to visit this restaurant then for the love of all that is good GO! The food is wonderful and the wine cellar is far beyond anything I have ever seen. So fantastic!

More to come ...

Some Italy dreaming

I wouldn't mind going back to warmth and the sun, the food and the wine for a little while. I guess remembering all that goodness through pictures will have to do ... I will have to do some serious down scaling, and distribute them over a couple of posts. I hope y'all don't mind. :D

The first couple of days ...
UNESCO world heritage residence in Würzburg, Germany

Town of Arco by the Garda lake and our hotel

Fattoria Voltrona where we spent three nights

Oliveto castle in Castelfiorentino

At Vicchiomaggio castle in Greve in Chianto

San Gimignano

Back to P365 freebie set

Remember the freebie series I put up at the beginning of the year for P365? In this series I offered 12 .psd templates including wordart for each week of each moth. Well, I only got up to April and said I would come back to the rest a little later. And a little grew into a lot. I am ashamed to say that I left it far too long and I am sorry to all of you who have been waiting for the rest of the wordart. My deepest apologies.

So now it's finally completed and you can download it here.

I was a bit lazy and could not be bothered to look up which months that had a fith week with more than three days in it, so I went the easy route and did five weeks for each month from April to December. LOL, a girl has to be smart about her time.

OK, so enjoy!

New products in store; Modernist

I am so excited about being able to share the news about my two newest packs in my shop at JessicaSprague.com today! I have been wanting to do something like this for a really long time and when I was finally finished I was really pleased. I really like this kit.

Modernist Paper Pack
Click on the image to go directly to the product in the shop

This paper pack has a clear nod to the awesome mod style of the 50s and 60s but with a modern twist and a touch of dirt. The colour scheme is picked directly from any typical 50s fabric and the patterns are of a slightly updated style. The perfect modernist!

Modernist Elements Pack

The elements pack was designed to compliment the paper pack and echoes some of the patterns featured in the papers. You also get some wordart, a few frames, some tags and journaling card, and a couple of details.

Look what some of our CT created with the kit

Sit tight until Wednesday when I have a related product coming atcha on One Buck Wednesday! Woohoo!

P52 - back with a bang

I can hardly believe it's been five weeks since I posted about P52! I've spent the past two weeks editing, editing, editing, designing some digi goodness, a tattoo, a christening invite, and then some more editing. Wow, a lot of hours in front of the compy I tell you. It's a good thing it's been raining for most of these two weeks, lol.

So, five week's worth of weekly photos! Let's dive right in!

#29, 2010
Our fava beans exploded right before we left for Italy. We got to enjoy some of them before the trip but I think my BIL and his family got the better part of the goodies, lol. In any case, they were delish!

#30, 2010
Our first week in Italy. Oh man, the sights we've seen. I had such a hard time choosing which photo to use for this and next week. I mean, how can you go wrong with a gorgeous place like Tuscany? This was taken in Montepulciano.

#31, 2010
We spent my birthday in Cinque Terre, and I fell deeply in love. The day was gorgeous, albeit very very hot, and we spent all day in the five towns. This is the small harbour of Vernazza. The boats are a little further out (just to the left of my shot) and the beach is quite lovely, see how clear the water is!

#32, 2010
We had the pleasure of attending a beautiful wedding and I got some seriously awesome pictures of the gorgeous couple. I am particularly in love with this one.

#33, 2010
Just a shot of a bench in town that I quite like the look of.

Alright, now I just need to figure out how to easily share some more of our holiday photos without too much work on my part ...

In this set you get six 24x12 fully layered .psd templates. That means you can create twelve beautiful pages (or six double pages). You can mix and match and repeat as many times as you like to create a book with these templates. I have actually used these templates myself to create a book that I had printed with Shutterfly.

Here are som other gorgeous layots made with this set:
Michelle created this gorgeous layout

Chrissy created two colourful and striking layouts
Roshni made this layout
Heather took one of the templates and altered it to fit her needs and it came out great

I also created this layout
